Marksmanship Instructions For Free
It has been my experience over that past ten years or so, that all the marksmanship instructions I have come across, usually are duplicates of that found in the US Army's pistol manual, or the Marine Corps pistol manual.
I agree with those who advocate learning Point Shooting first, as a means for becoming familiar with shooting in the least amount of time. And also, as a practical matter, for use in close quarters self defense situations.
Marksmanship (Sight Shooting), is rarely used in real life threat close quarters situations. So knowing only it, could result in your being shot and/or killed in such a situation.
However; for situations where the sights can and "should be" employed, the military manuals are a great source for learning Sight Shooting.
Both manuals can be download here for free. Just click on one of the links below. A manual on Bullseye shooting (Marksmanship), used to be available on the web.
